2025 Annual Meeting of the Cooperation Indonesia-The Netherlands Programme

Starting today, the annual meeting of Cooperation Indonesia-The Netherlands Program, is taking place in Jakarta, Indonesia. NWO and the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudrestek) collaborate to further stimulate long term research between the Netherlands and Indonesia.

Some of the aims of this research cooperation are:

• To strengthen co-operations in the field of innovation and science
• Addressing urgent societal problems
• Promote interdisciplinary research in areas in areas of medium and long term interest, particularly those related to mutual priorities.

The program supports joint research projects that connect with both countries’ research priorities and contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s). The Forest City team will also present an update on the project there. Talking about what has been done, what lessons have been learned, and how the project will continue in the coming period.
